In recent times, brands taking jabs at each other through advertisements on billboards or even social media has a lot more common. Companies use these platforms to sometimes playfully mock each other, and now, Xiaomi has joined in as well, taking a dig at OnePlus and its ‘expensive phone.’
The jab from the Chinese tech giant arrives just shortly after OnePlus mocked Apple saying, “In a world of apples, stand out with a OnePlus.” While the Cupertino based giant didn’t respond to the matter, Xiaomi took the opportunity to fire its own response. In the same Twitter thread as the original, saying “But why settle for less when you can have more. New Year. 108MP resolution,” as a response to OnePlus’ first tweet.

Notably, in the Xiaomi response, the company even shared an image of its recently launched Mi 10T Pro, which sports a 108 megapixel primary camera on the rear. Furthermore, the Chinese smartphone maker also had used the hashtag “SettleFor Better,” which is another jab at OnePlus, whose motto is ‘Never Settle.’ At the moment, OnePlus has yet to respond to this, but we hope to see another round of banter.
