For those who are unaware, Xiaomi Labs was first introduced by Lei Jun a couple of months ago in September this year. It is located in the Xiaomi Science and Technology Park in Haidian District, Beijing.
The lab has about 123 rooms and more than 90 of them are for the mobile phone laboratories. Additionally, Xiaomi Labs are also distributed in other cities across the country as well as overseas.
It prepares and tests 200 smartphones for continuous one-month-long test before the model is made available in the market. The smartphones undergo the long test to ensure stability and find issues that might surface in the device after longer periods of usage.
