China’s Coolpad Group Limited has launched a new smartphone in Nepal. It carries the Coolpad Cool S moniker and has quad-cameras, a bigger battery, and more.

Coolpad Cool S has a top-left punch-hole display at the front and a rectangular camera layout at the back. Carrying the look of a Glasstic finish, the rear fuselage also has the coolpad branding at the bottom. You get a fingerprint sensor at a very unusual place, i.e., to the left.

The left side also has a tray to accommodate dual-SIM cards. Onto the right, you have the usual power button and volume rockers. It comes in three colors- Night Black, Lapis Blue, and Moon White. However, a report says(via) that the White variant won’t make it to Nepal.

Coolpad Cool S Price, Availability

Coolpad Cool S is priced at NPR 22,595($193.07) for the single 4GB RAM/128GB storage in Nepal. Users of Nepal can purchase the device from daraz in Black, and Blue Color options. Now that it’s out in Nepal, we can also expect the device to launch in other markets soon.

Coolpad Cool S Specifications and Features

Talking about specs, the Coolpad Cool S features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. As mentioned above there is a punch-hole to the left to house a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor for selfies.

For rear cameras, you get a 48MP f/1.8 Samsung GM1 Sensor, an 8MP f/2.0 ultra-wide with 120-degree FOV, a 5MP macro lens which can cover distance up to 2cm, and a 0.3MP sensor. Other specifications include a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging, older Android 10 OS, face unlock, and measures 161.2*76.2*8.9mm.
