Earlier today, vivo unveiled the world’s first Snapdragon 480 smartphone in the form of vivo Y31s in China. Whereas, at around the same time, the brand also launched vivo Y51A, a toned-down version of vivo Y51 in India. Let us take a look at the specs, features, and price of this handset in this post.
vivo Y51A Specifications and Features
The newly released vivo Y51A is identical to the already launched vivo Y51. The only major difference is that the latest device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, instead of Snapdragon 665.
Apart from the above-mentioned dissimilarity, the new handset has the exact same specs as the old model. Hence, it also comes in a single 8GB + 128GB storage configuration with an indistinguishable design and colors (Crystal Symphony, Titanium Sapphire).

The smartphone flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel on the front with a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a dewdrop notch housing a 16MP selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G (dual-SIM), dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo), 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. The vivo Y51A is priced at ₹17,990 ($245) in India. Weirdly, this is the same price for which the vivo Y51 debuted in India in early December. Anyway, the phone can be purchased from vivo e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, TataCliq, and other popular online as well as offline retailers across the country.
