Apple has been revamping its devices lineup and while some of the devices are getting refreshed internals, some device have updated designs. Now, it seems that the company’s upcoming iPad Mini 6 could have a new design and some interesting features.

The report about the updated design for the Apple iPad Mini 6 comes through David Kowalski, who previously leaked information related to devices like Google Pixel 5, Samsung Galaxy Note20, and the Apple iPhone 12 Pro.

He had also shared information about the Apple iPad Pro (2021) and now in the latest information for the iPad Mini 6, he claims that the company will be using an in-display Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The renders show a cutout in the region of Touch ID which may be just for illustration purposes.

Another feature that is being reported is the punch-hole cutout for housing the front-facing camera. If that case, the company will be able to cut down the size of bezels, offering a full-screen experience to users.

It also seems to be in line with what Ming-Chi Kuo said about the iPhone Mini 6 with a 9.1-inch display. Yes, the device is expected to come with a bigger display compared to what the previous models in the iPad Mini series featured.

The device is expected to come powered by the Apple A14 chipset, which is the same chip that powers the newly launched iPhone 12 series. As for the availability, the device could get launched in the month of March, along with the iPad Pro 2021 and iPhone SE 2021.
