Earlier this month, the specifications of two Motorola smartphones codenamed Capri and Capri Plus were leaked. These handsets are expected to go official in Q1 2021 itself. A few days back, the plus model’s branding was revealed to be Moto G30 via NBTC certification. Now, this very same phone has been certified by India’s BIS as well.

The Motorola Capri Plus smartphone with model number XT2129-2 has received BIS certification. Hence, we can expect the company to launch this handset in India but we cannot tell for sure if it will release as Moto G30 or something else.

According to previous reports, this upcoming Motorola phone will sport a 90Hz HD+ display. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.

Further, the device will feature a 13MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor on the front and a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 sensor with an ultra-wide lens, a 2MP OmniVision OV02B sensor for depth sensing, and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 sensor with a macro lens.

Other features include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging, dual-SIM, NFC, and Android 11 operating system. Lastly, although it is not confirmed, we can expect this device to come with a MicroSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack like any other budget Motorola smartphone.
