The Xiaomi Mi 11, Samsung Galaxy S21 series, iQOO 7, and Vivo X50 Pro+ are some of the Snapdragon 888 powered handsets that have gone official in recent weeks. Fresh information reveals that Meizu is gearing up to launch the Snapdragon 888 powered Meizu 18 series lineup soon in China. A listing of the Meizu 18 was spotted on the Chinese retailer platform Pinduoduo recently.

At present, there is no word on the specifications of the Meizu 18 series. The Chinese retailer listing only mentions the placeholder pricing of 9,999 Yuan (~$1,544). Speculations are rife that the lineup will include two models namely, Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro.

Meizu 18 specifications (Rumored)

Rumors surrounding the Meizu 18 Pro have revealed that it will be coming with a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will be sporting a punch-hole design.

The Meizu 18 Pro is expected to arrive with a quad-camera setup that may include a periscope telephoto lens with support for 5x optical zoom. The device may carry support for 100W fast charging and 40W/55W wireless fast charging. It is likely to land in China with a starting price of 4,699 Yuan (~$726).

The Meizu 18 Pro will be replacing the Meizu 17 Pro that went official in May. The handset has a 6.6-inch S-AMOLED 120Hz display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 865 powered sported a 20-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (telephoto)+ 32-megapixel (ultrawide) + 0.3-megapixel (ToF) quad-camera system. Its 4,500mAh battery supports 30W fast charging and 27W wireless charging. The smartphone shipped with 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
