Last month, Vivo announced the Vivo Y31s 5G smartphone in China. The handset debuted as the world’s first 5G phone powered by the all-new Snapdragon 480. Yesterday, a listing of the phone was found in the Google Play Console by TTechnical YouTuber. The listing suggests that the smartphone could be arriving soon in the global markets.

The Vivo Y31s 5G’s Google Play Console listing reveals that it has a waterdrop notch display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and 480ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 480 powered phone is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. At present, it is unclear which markets will be treated with the Vivo Y31s 5G phone.

Vivo Y31s 5G specifications

The Vivo Y31s 5G is available in China with a price tag of 1,698 Yuan for the sole version that has 6 GB of LPDD4Rx RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It is fitted with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz.

For snapping selfies, the Vivo Y31s 5G has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The rear-mounted camera module has a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The handset houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Vivo Y31s 5G has 164.15 × 75.35 × 8.40mm and it weighs 185.5 grams. It is available in China in colors like Monet, Titanium Gray, and Ruby Red.

In related news, Vivo is gearing up to launch its first Dimensity 820 powered smartphone called Vivo S7t 5G in China. Apart from featuring a new chipset, it is expected to include the same specs as last year’s Vivo S7 5G (aka Vivo V20 Pro in global markets) that came with Snapdragon 765G chip.
