Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip with the Galaxy S20 series in Q1 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G was made official in July. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 did not debut with the Galaxy S21 series. A fresh leak suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 will debut in the second half of 2021.

According to tipster Ice Universe, it will take 5 months for Samsung to launch the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. Since the South Korean tech giant announced the predecessor Galaxy Z Flip 5G in July 2020, it is likely that the Z Flip 3 may go official in July this year along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Earlier this week, display analyst Ross Young claimed that the new foldables by Samsung will debut in June or July.

It was reported around two months ago by Sammobile that the Galaxy Z Flip3 may not be a full-fledged flagship device. It is said that its 5G variant has an SM-F721B model number whereas its LTE edition has an SM-F720F model number. The presence of an LTE model suggests that it will feature a high-end LTE-ready chip. The last high-end LTE chip from Qualcomm is the Snapdragon 855+. Hence, it appears that the Galaxy Z Flip3 could arrive as a budget flagship device.

The Z Flip3 is speculated to offer users a 6.9-inch main foldable screen with 120Hz refresh rate support, thinner bezels and a smaller punch-hole, new UTG, 2 to 3 times larger external screen, a battery of around 3,900mAh, and better durability.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 is speculated to arrive as the company’s first foldable phone with S-Pen support. It is also rumored to sport an under-display camera to offer users with full-screen experience.
