The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G that has a model number of SM-A725F / DS has received approval from the NBTC authority of Thailand (via. Pricebaba). In recent weeks, the Galaxy A72 4G has bagged many other certifications like FCC in the U.S, BIS in India, ANATEL in Brazil, EEC in Europe, and TUV Rheinland. Speculations are rife that the Galaxy A72 4G will debut in March.

The Samsung Galaxy A72’s NBTC certification reveals that it is a 4G device. While its smaller sibling Galaxy A52 is expected to arrive in 4G and 5G versions, the Galaxy A72 could be available in 4G version only.

Along with the A52, the A72 could be the first A-series phone from Samsung to arrive with IP67 rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.

The Snapdragon 720G chipset is expected to fuel the phone with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. It may arrive in storage choices like 128 GB and 256 GB. For more storage, it may feature a microSD card slot. The handset will run on One UI 3.1 based Android 11 OS. It may arrive with a 5,000mAh battery that will support 25W rapid charging.

The Galaxy A72 4G could be arriving with a starting price of 449 euros (~$542) in Europe. It is expected to sell in colors like blue, white, lavender, and black.
