Xiaomi launched the Mi 10T Lite alongside the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro in late September. The handset debuted with MIUI 12 based on Android 10. Now, months after its release, this device has finally started receiving the Android 11 update.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite ships with two types of MIUI builds – Global and EEA. But currently, only the variant running the global build is receiving the Android 11 update.
Above all, the update with build number V12.0.2.0.RJSMIXM is currently in the ‘Stable Beta’ phase. Hence, it is being only seeded out to select users. If these early adopters don’ face any major issues, the availability of this update will be extended for more customers.
Similarly, Xiaomi should start delivering the Android 11 update not only to the EEA variant of Mi 10T Lite but also Mi 10i and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G very soon.
That’s because the Redmi Note 9 Pro that debuted in late November 2020 in China is basically the Mi 10T Lite with a 108MP primary sensor. On the other hand, the Mi 10 that released in India last month is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.
Hence, these three phones codenamed gauguin run the same MIUI build with regional tweaks. That said, going by Xiaomi’s update track record, this trio should get at least one more Android update and three MIUI updates.
