Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 in late December 2020 in China. The handset made its global debut in Europe earlier this month. Now, weeks later, the company has officially confirmed to launch this smartphone in Singapore on February 25.
According to a post by Xiaomi Singapore, the Mi 11 flagship smartphone will be presented in the country on February 25. The device’s launch event will be livestreamed on Facebook, starting at 20:00 GMT+8.
For those unaware, the Mi 11 is Xiaomi’s first premium smartphone of 2021. This phone is expected to be joined by at least three more models, namely Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Lite in the near future
The Mi 11 brings a new design, better display (6.81-inch WQHD+ 120Hz quad-curved panel), and 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Some of the bonuses include a dual-stereo speaker setup tuned by Harmon Kardon, optional vegan leather finishes, 55W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless fast charging.
As for optics, the handset house a triple camera setup, which includes a 108MP primary sensor paired with a 13MP ultra-wide unit and a 5MP telemacro snapper. Whereas, on the front, it sports a 20MP punch-hole camera.
In our review, we described the Mi 11 to be ‘the best value Snapdragon 888 flagship to beat in 2021’. However, it is worth noting that our unit (Chinese variant) was also riddled with bugs.
