On Wednesday, the Made By Google Twitter account posted a tweet that hinted at something that had to do with Apple TV. It has now officially announced that Apple TV+ is now available for Chromecast with Google TV via the Apple TV app.

According to the blog post released by Google, users can access the Apple TV app by going to the Apps tab or the apps row in the For you tab. If you have an Apple TV+ subscription, you will be able to watch your favorite TV shows within the app.

Users in the US will be able to browse through Apple Originals in their personalized recommendations and search results. They will also be able to ask Google Assistant to open the app or play a certain show from the app. You can also add Apple Originals shows or movies to your watchlist. Google says that these features will be available globally in the coming months.

The Chromecast with Google TV is a $49 streaming device that was announced by Google last year. It comes with a voice remote, so you can call up Google Assistant to launch an app or play a favorite show or movie.

Google has said that the Apple TV app will be available on more Google TV devices later.
