Earlier today, Xiaomi India announced the Redmi Note 10 series which has three phones – the Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Shortly after, Xiaomi had a global launch for the series but with five phones – the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10 5G.

Redmi Note 10S

From the name, we know this is the successor to the Redmi Note 9S from last year. The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone swaps the Snapdragon 720G processor of its predecessor for the Helio G95. Buyers will be able to choose from three available configurations – 6+64GB, 6+128GB, and 8+128GB.

The Redmi Note 10S has a 64MP main camera on the back and it comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 13MP selfie camera.

There is a 5000mAh battery inside the phone with support for 33W fast charging. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an audio jack. It runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box. The base model is priced at $229, the 6+128GB version is $249, and the 8+128GB is priced at $279. It will be available in April in Onyx Gray, Pebble White, and Ocean Blue.

The Redmi Note 10 5G has a 6.5-inch 90Hz FHD+ AdaptiveSync LCD display with a centered punch hole. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 12GB of storage.

It has a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The Redmi Note 10 5G also comes with an 8MP selfie camera. Just like the others with an AMOLED display, its fingerprint scanner is side-mounted.

The battery capacity is 5000mAh but it charges at a much slower speed (18W) than the 4G Redmi Note 10. The phone is available in Aurora Green, Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, and Nighttime Blue. It has a starting price of $199 while the 128GB version is priced at $229. It will go on sale in April.

The Redmi Note 10 for the global market is almost identical to the version released for India. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with a Snapdragon 678 processor that is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Unlike the Indian version that comes in just two configurations – 4+64GB and 6+128GB, the global version adds a third configuration – 4+128GB.

There are four cameras on the back – a 48MP f/1.79 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera with a 118° FOV, a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. This is the exact configuration of the Indian version but the cameras are arranged slightly differently as seen in the image below. The selfie camera is a 13MP front-facing camera.

The global version of the Redmi Note 10 also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI Face Unlock, stereo speakers, audio jack, IR blaster, and Bluetooth 5.1. The battery capacity is 5000mAh and you get 33W fast charging just as the Indian variant. It runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The Redmi Note 10 is available in Onyx Gray, Pebble White, and Lake Green. It has a starting price of $199 and will be available on March 8.

The global version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro shares a similar spec sheet to the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max for India. Its display is a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The spec sheet says that the display has an SGS Eye Care Display Certification and an SGS “Seamless Pro” rating. There is a Snapdragon 732G processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The quad rear cameras include a 108MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 5MP telemacro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Its front-facing camera is a 16MP f/2.45 sensor. Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI Face Unlock, Multifunctional NFC, stereo speakers, IR blaster, an IP53 waterproof rating, a 5020mAh battery, and support for 33W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11. It is available in Glacier Blue, Gradient Bronze, and Onyx Gray and can be purchased in 6+64GB, 6+128GB, and 8+128GB configurations. It has a starting price of $279, goes up to $299 for the 6+128GB version, and stops at $329 for the 8+128GB version. Xiaomi will offer a $30 discount on all configurations for those who purchase on AliExpress between March 8 and March 9.
