The launch of the new monitor is a step in the company’s initiative to invest and venture into a new product category to diversify its electronic product portfolio. This is also a part of the Chinese tech giant’s ‘1+8+N’ strategy. The new monitor features a near bezel less display, similar to the ones seen in laptop offerings from the company. The brand says that it features its ‘FullView DNA’ and is launching in the UK, France, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and The Philippines.

The company’s first desktop monitor arrives with a sleek and seamless unibody design, surrounded by three narrow bezels that measure in at just 5.7mm. This enables the display to have a 90 percent screen to body ratio on the Huawei Display 23.8″. The monitor will be compatible with PCs, laptops, and even mobile devices as well. The panel supports IPS and features an FHD (1920x1080px) resolution. It boasts 72 percent NTSC color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 with a 178 degrees wide viewing angle.
