ZMI has launched a new accessory for Apple devices in China. This latest product is called ZMI USB Type-C to Lightning Silicone Cable. As the name suggests, it is a silicone-insulated cable for charging and data transfer. It is priced at ¥89 ($14) in the company’s home country.
For those unaware, ZMI is currently a subsidiary of Xiaomi. For years, this company has been developing chargers, power banks, and related products for its new parent firm. Since it operates independently, ZMI has also been selling accessories for other brands.
ZMI is known for value for money power accessories. It sells various types of chargers, power banks, and cables for a wide variety of products from different companies, including Apple. The latest ZMI USB Type-C to Lightning Silicone Cable is one such product.
This new silicone-clad skin-friendly smooth cable from ZMI is MFi-certified. Therefore, it works with Apple products without any problem. It also supports USB PD (Power Delivery) charging and up to 3A current.
