Meizu, the China-based smartphone maker officially announced the “iPhone for 18” campaign in which the company is offering users extra benefits on the purchase of the company’s latest flagship Meizu 18 series phones when they trade their iPhones.

As per the official announcement from Meizu on its Weibo account, the users who are trading their Apple iPhone for the purchase of Meizu 18 series smartphones can receive a special discount of up to 4,000 yuan, approximately $611.

Meizu 18 iPhone Offer

The development comes just a day after the company announced that 45 percent of its new customers for the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro smartphones are existing users of the Apple iPhone lineup. It seems that the company is now trying to cahs-in on this and get more users to switch from iPhone to its own devices.

The company is accepting iPhone 7 and later models for trade-in and these are the models applicable for a discounted price. In addition to the discount, the customers also stand a chance to get POP2 TWS earphones.

Meizu officials say that the company’s new Meizu 18 lineup focuses on the security and privacy of the users just like the iPhone and also offers the same pure and comfortable user experience. The devices are being marketed as “Three Zero Mobile Phones” given that they come with zero advertisements, zero pre-installed third-party apps, and zero push notifications from the company.
