DJI has officially unveiled its latest drone, the Air 2S, which is the successor of the Mavic Air 2 that was launched last year and was well-received. The DJI Air 2S offers greater depth with its camera, reflecting an overall improvement from its predecessor.DJI Air 2S

In terms of the specifications, DJI Air 2S features a better and larger 1-inch CMOS sensor and more outstanding resolution capabilities. The one-inch sensor offers significantly higher 2.4μm pixels, which is better than the 0.5-inch sensor on the Mavic Air 2, and its 0.8μm pixels. A bigger sensor implies that the Air 2S can capture up to 5.4K quality, far better than the Mavic Air 2.DJI Air 2S

The Air 2s weighs marginally higher than the Mavic Air 2, powered by a 3,500mAh battery which can sustain the device for about 31 minutes. Due to it being heavier by about 25g compared to the Mavic Air 2, the Air 2S has a marginally lower in-flight duration than the Air 2 that can work for 33 minutes.

Apart from its two sides, the DJI Air 2S drone can avoid obstacles when going up or down and forward or backward. With the industry-standard OcuSync featured in the device, the gadget has a maximum control range of 12km – slightly more than the Air 2.
There are a few other capabilities like the MasterShot, which can help you get more powerful shots.DJI Air 2S

The DJI Air 2S is already on sale on DJI’s official website. The product starts at $999 for the base package containing the drone, the battery, two pairs of propellers, and the DJI RC-N1 controller.
