Xiaomi has often been seen as a company that sells premium products at affordable prices but the company has gradually started changing that stance. The Mi MIX Fold is the brand’s first smartphone that will retail for up to 10,000 yuan. The base model of the Mix Fold is priced at 9,999 yuan (~$1,530). Thus, it is interesting to see that there is still a tremendous level of interest from fans.

The Mi Mix Fold adopts an in-folding design and in terms of aesthetics, it is indisputably beautiful. The smartphone display comes in at 8.01 inches in the unfolded state with a resolution of 2480×1860 pixels as well as a pixel density of 387PPI. The main display also has a 4.300000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and supports Dolby Vision.Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold

In the folded state, the phone packs a 6.52-inch flexible AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2520×840 pixels. It also has a refresh rate of 90Hz, 700nits brightness, and equally supports Dolby Vision.

The foldable phone is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset and is available in three memory configurations; 12GB+256GB storage, 12GB+512GB storage, and a hefty 16GB+512GB storage version. You also get a 108MP main shooter teaming up with a 13MP ultrawide sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens in a triple camera arrangement.
