Xiaomi‘s ecological chain company Smartmi has launched a new product dubbed Smartmi DC Inverter Floor Fan 3. The product is designed with the needs of homeowners in mind as it produces low noise which shouldn’t disturb your sleep. The black and gold colour mix will ensure that the product blends with the dark when it is lights out. 
The product, which is also known as the Smartmi DC Inverter Floor Fan 3 Black Gold Edition, features a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be fully charged in 4 hours and supports 20 hours of wireless battery life. 
The DC fan adopts Minebea’s brushless DC motor with a double-layer enclosed motor compartment, streamlined air deflector, and 7-feather soft fan blades, making it quieter. The fan also features Smartmi’s dynamic-wind sensor algorithm, which highly restores nature’s irregularly changing wind. At the same time, the built-in temperature and humidity sensor automatically change speed according to the ambient temperature, keeping a comfortable wind speed at all times.
In addition, the fan also has a built-in negative ion generator that continuously releases negative ions, reduces dust and reduces static electricity, and restores the freshness of the natural world.
In terms of intelligence, the Smartmi DC Floor fan features support for MIJIA app control. Through the app, users can preset a startup time, adjust the brightness of the display, set the head angle, check the indoor temperature and humidity, etc. Users can also adjust the wind speed from the MIJIA app.
The DC fan is presently up to pre-order from Jingdong for 699 yuan (~$107) and will go on sale on April 18.
