As expected, Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi TV EA 2022 series in China. The lineup includes a total of seven sizes. They have a similar design but the specifications are slightly different. Let us take a look at their specs, features, price, and availability.
Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022 Series Specifications and Features
The entire Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022 lineup sports a metal unibody design and an LED-backlit LCD panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and 178° viewing angle. However, the screen resolution is not the same in all sizes. Similarly, the speakers, chipset, RAM, and voice control implementation are different. Anyway, all the models run the latest MIUI for TV 3.0 operating system and have the exact same I/O ports.
Starting with the Mi TV EA32 2022, it is the only television in the series with an HD-ready (1366 × 768 pixels) display. Whereas, the Mi TV EA40 2022 and the Mi TV EA43 2022 feature an FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) panel. Lastly, all the remaining variants (Mi TV EA50 2022, Mi TV EA55 2022, Mi TV EA65 2022, Mi TV EA75 2022) come with a 4K (3840×2160 pixels) screen.
Further, the HD and FHD televisions are powered by a dual-core Amlogic 64-bit chipset (2 x ARM Cortex-A53 cores, ARM Mali-450 MP2 GPU) paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. On the other hand, the 4K (UHD) models sport a quad-core Amlogic 64-bit SoC (4 x ARM Cortext-A35 cores, ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU) coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage.
On the connectivity front, all the variants come with single-band WiFi and Bluetooth. As for ports, they include 2 X HMDI (one of them is ARC compatible), 2 x USB, 1 X AV, 1 x Ethernet, 1 x S/PDIF, and 1 X ATV/DTMB.
Lastly, talking about audio, the HD and FHD models feature 2 x 8W (16W) DTS-HD speakers and a Bluetooth voice remote. Whereas, the 4K variants come with 2 x 10W (20W) DTS-HD speakers and far-field microphones for hands-free voice control, in addition to a Bluetooth voice remote.
