We reported earlier this week that Honor will announce the Honor 50 series in May. A new leak has now released more details of the Honor 50 and a higher-end model that will launch as the Honor 50 Pro.

The Honor 50 will arrive next month but a tweet by Teme (特米) (@RODENT950) says that the Honor 50 Pro will follow in July. We are not sure if these are the only two models Honor has planned or if there will be more. The tweet also revealed the chipset that will power the two phones.

The Honor 50 will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 processor inside it. We have seen a couple of big brands announce phones/plan to announce phones with this chipset. The Realme GT Neo is already available for purchase, Redmi’s gaming phone will be powered by it, and a leak has revealed that the OPPO Reno6 5G will also have a Dimensity 1200 processor.

For the Honor 50 Pro, Teme says the phone will have a Snapdragon chipset but didn’t say which one. Will it be a Snapdragon 700 series chipset or a Snapdragon 800 series chipset? Time will tell.

There is no news yet on a planned global release and if it will have Google Mobile Services if it does launch outside China.
