Back in early March, OPPO started recruiting beta testers for OPPO Reno2 Android 11-based ColorOS 11 update, Now, one and a half months later, the company has begun to roll out the stable update as scheduled.

The OPPO Reno2 ColorOS 11 (Android 11) update is currently live in the following regions.
- India
- Malaysia
- Indonesia
- Vietnam
- Philippines
- Thailand
- Cambodia
- Myanmar
- Pakistan
- Kazakhstan
The latest system update for the smartphone comes with the following firmware versions depending on the region.
- C.45
- C.47
- C.49
- F.13
- F.15
- F.16
According to the official announcement post on ColorOS Community, users need to be on firmware version F.17 to receive the update.
In order to download this update, users are asked to navigate to Settings > Software Updates > Gear Icon > Official Version Application. On this page, they will have to mark the ‘Apply Now’ checkbox and finally, download and install the update.
It is worth noting that ColorOS 11 is the second major update for the OPPO Reno2 after ColorOS 7 (Android 10) that was released last year. Since OPPO is known for only providing two Android updates, Android 11 should be the last major update for this handset.
Anyway, the device should continue to receive security patches and bug fixes for some time after this update reaches every user.
