In January, vivo revealed Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) update timeline for India. The company has been following this schedule ever since. In fact, it has been also delivering the update to some devices that are not on the list. Now, three months later, three more phones are receiving this update.

As per the official timeline, vivo S1 Pro, vivo Z1 Pro, and vivo Z1x are supposed to start receiving the Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 update at the end of April 2021 in India. Just like the company promised, it has begun to roll out the update to these three smartphones.
According to two different reports by PiunikaWeb, the Android 11 update for these once popular vivo phons is currently under greyscale testing in India. For those unaware, vivo greyscale testing is similar to Xiaomi MIUI Stable Beta.

This type of build is only seeded out to a select few users to test its stability publicly. If there are no major issues, it is rolled out to more users gradually.
As per user reports, the Funtouch OS 11 update for vivo S1 Pro and vivo Z1x is being seeded out with build numbers vivo rev 8.12.6 (3.79GB) and vivo rev 8.70.31 (3.29GB) respectively. Unfortunately, there’s no info on the build number for vivo Z1 Pro.

All these three smartphones launched with Funtouch OS 9.x (Android 9.0 Pie). They were updated to Funtouch OS 10 (Android 10) last year. Hence. Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) should be their last major update, as per vivo’s update track record.
