Redmi announced the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition last month as its first hard-core gaming phone. This handset is now expected to arrive in global markets soon as it has emerged in the database of Google Play Console (via).

The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition’s Play Console listing mentions that it supports an FHD+ resolution, a 440ppi pixel density, Android 11 OS, 8 GB of RAM, and Dimensity 1200 chipset. These details are already known through its Chinese launch. It remains to be seen whether the device breaks cover in global markets later this month.

In India, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is expected to arrive as a POCO branded device. Recent reports have called that it could be called POCO F3 GT. Again, there is no official word from POCO India on the arrival of a new F-series smartphone.
