Huawei is expected to officially launch the FreeBuds 4 true wireless earbuds in China on May 19. Ahead of the launch which is just around the corner, pictures of the wireless earbuds have appeared online lying side-by-side with those of the FreeBuds 3. Huawei FreeBuds 4

The leaked pictures were shared on Weibo with the source also dropping some details. He hinted that the new earbuds are lighter, smaller and that the design is more in line with the human ear compared to the third-generation model.

Further, the earbuds are expected to come with stronger noise reduction capabilities while retaining the touch control and other features found in the previous Huawei FreeBuds 3 model. The storage case is shorter which indicates that the FreeBuds 4 will have a shorter stem. The case also seems to have an LCD screen at the front that’ll possibly display the battery level. The wider storage box also suggests the FreeBuds 4 have a longer battery life than its predecessor.

The earbuds are also tipped to be available in three colors: silver, white, and red. The red variant is said to go on sale at a later date. However, the leaked pictures are those of the silver variant and they look pretty cool. Both the earbuds and storage box got the silver paint job.Huawei FreeBuds 4

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 is already available to pre-order on Huawei’s Vmall. The product page shows the device will be available in white, gray, and red. The wireless earbuds are also expected to get a black variant.

Apart from the FreeBuds 4, Huawei is also expected to unveil a couple of other products, including  Huawei Smart Screen SE, earphones, and a smartwatch with BP check function. The tech giant may also launch a high-end notebook and a Mate-branded tablet, among other products.
