The Olympic games were supposed to hold last year but the event was postponed. Prior to the quadrennial games being postponed, Samsung had announced a special edition of the Galaxy S20+ for the event. However, the device was eventually canceled due to the postponement. Now Japanese carrier, Docomo, has listed the Galaxy S21 Olympic Games Edition on its official website.

This special edition comes in a new color variant called Phantom Blue (actually looks like a darker shade of purple) and it will be exclusive to Docomo. The carrier’s name is printed on the back as well as the famous Olympics logo. The phone also comes in a special box. The product listing says there are also custom wallpapers, lock screens, and app icons as well as a custom Olympics-themed boot and shutdown animation.

The device can be reserved on Docomo’s online shop now but it won’t be available until early next month. Going by previous years, we expect this special edition will be given to all athletes that attend the games free of charge.
