There are still some gaps observed in the announcement, as no name has yet been given for the device. The only hint relating to the announcement is that Sony says it is an announcement for music lovers. The product is also teased as “Truly Silent” and “Tailored 4 you”.

We do know that the WF-1000XM4 features several innovations from its predecessor, the WF-1000X3. The device will utilize the Sony V1 processor that adds greater width to the device. The earbuds also come with an IPX4 waterproof and dustproof rating. The voice pickup technology is of the highest precision and quality. The battery and its charging case can give between 8 and 16 hours of continuous entertainment on a full charge. However, the battery life is significantly reduced when the active noise cancellation feature is turned on. As expected, the device has fast charging capabilities, as well as Qi wireless charging.Sony
