Earlier this year, Realme revealed that it will split its flagship phones into two – a performance model and a camera-centric model. The performance model already launched in China as the Realme GT and has two sister variants – the Realme GT Neo and the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition. Today, the manufacturer has announced when the two GT flagships will arrive for the global markets.
In a tweet earlier today by Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme Europe and India, it was revealed that the Realme GT 5G Performance Flagship will be announced globally in June while the Realme GT Camera Flagship will follow in July. The latter is yet to launch in China but it remains to be seen if the global launch will come first.

Realme’s strategy seems to be a different approach to what we have seen from other manufacturers that launch Pro, Pro+, and Ultra models of their flagship phones. These other variants, most especially the Pro+/Ultra models usually have the best cameras and are priced higher than their siblings.
The Realme GT 5G Performance Flagship has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 and has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
For cameras, it has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the back and a 16MP sensor in front. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging via a USB-C port. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an audio jack.
Realme announced last month that it will release a global version of its Android 12 Beta 1 update for the device when it launches for the global markets.
