Back in March, Xiaomi debuted the first-ever Redmi televisions in India in the form of the Redmi Smart TV X series. This lineup is the first in the country to come with the Mi Home app to manage Xiaomi smart home products. This application later arrived with the recently launched Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition as well. Now, the Mi Home app is also available on a number of older Xiaomi televisions in India.

A couple of days back, the Product Manager of Xiaomi televisions in India tweeted that the Mi Home App was rolled out to all HD and FHD Mi TVs launched in the country to date. The company executive also shared the complete list of TV models.
The Mi Home App is now available on the following HD and FHD Mi TVs in India.

In order to install the Mi Home app on the above-mentioned Xiaomi Mi TVs, users will have to navigate to the User Centre section by selecting its icon located in the top row of the PatchWall launcher and scroll all the way down. Once installed and signed in, users will be able to manage their Xiaomi smart home products on their television.
Lastly, according to the executive, this application also supports PIP (picture-in-picture) mode and grid view for feeds from Mi Home Security Cameras.
