Right now, retailers across China are offering heavy discounts as part of 618 sales. Earlier this week, we reported that the iQOO Z 5G was being sold at only ¥1,299. A few days later, we have come across yet another fantastic deal, courtesy of ITHome.

JD or Jingdong is one of the largest online eCommerce companies in China. It is currently offering a 10% discount coupon for the Redmi K40 6GB + 128GB variant. Interestingly, the coupon is only available for customers residing in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Dongguan.

With the 10% discount coupon, the price of the Redmi K40 6GB + 128GB comes down to ¥1799.1 ($281). That’s an unbelievable asking price for a flagship killer smartphone featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and a 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED display with an A+ rating from DisplayMate.

The Redmi K40 is sold as POCO F3 and Mi 11X in global markets. The same 6GB + 128GB variant of these phones retail for €349 ($423) and ₹29,999 ($411) respectively. In other words, people in China are lucky to get hands-on this device at an unrealistic price tag.
