Last month, Samsung officially launched its Galaxy Tab S7 FE and the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in Europe. Now, just days after the official announcement, the South Korean giant is all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the Indian market.

The tablet has been listed on Amazon India with a ‘Coming Soon’ tag. The listing doesn’t reveal much about this upcoming device but it seems that the tablet will be available for purchase soon after the announcement by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

As the name indicates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a watered-down variant of the Galaxy Tab A7. It features an 8.7-inch LCD display with 1340 x 800 pixels screen resolution and a 2-megapixel f/2.2 camera sensor on the front.

On the back, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper with an f/2.0 aperture. Underneath, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio P22T chipset and comes in two memory variants — 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity up to 1TB.

There’s an audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. It works seamlessly with other Samsung Galaxy devices such as earbuds and phones. Users can easily switch their Galaxy Buds from one device to another; receive calls, send and receive messages on their Galaxy Tab even if their phone is not nearby.

It runs the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W Adaptive Fast Charging. The device comes in two variants — Wi-Fi and LTE but it remains to be seen if both the variants are launched in India.
