Meizu has quietly launched a new charger in China. This product is officially called Meizu 45W SuperCharger Adapter. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer along with its price and availability.
Meizu 45W SuperCharger Adapter Specifications and Features
Unlike most new chargers in the market, the Meizu 45W SuperCharger Adapter doesn’t appear to use GaN (Gallium Nitride) since there’s no mention of it on the official website. But still, it looks smaller than most 45W chargers. However, there are no details regarding either dimensions or weight to confirm the same.
The adapter comes in a sole glossy white color option with model number UP2020. It has a single USB Type-A port, which can output current at 17.5W, 35W, 40W, and 45W respectively.
Last but not least, it supports the following charging protocols.
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 3+ (QC 3+)
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (QC 3.0)
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 (QC 2.0)
- MediaTek Pump Express (MTK PE)
Meizu 45W SuperCharger Adapter Price and Availability
The Meizu 45W SuperCharger Adapter is priced at ¥99 ($15) in China. It is already up for sale in the country. Customers who order it alongside the Meizu 18 or the Meizu 18 Pro have to only pay ¥59 ($9).
