Earlier this year, just before the OnePlus 9 series was launched, OnePlus announced that the Chinese variants will ship with ColorOS instead of HydrogenOS. That decision was a major step towards what has been dubbed “the OPPO-fication of OnePlus”.
Last week, OnePlus announced that it was merging its teams with those of OPPO going forward. Thus becoming a sub-brand of OPPO rather than a sister-brand owned by the same parent company, BBK Electronics.
When the announcement was made, one of the concerns quickly addressed was that OnePlus phones (international models) will continue to run OxygenOS. The big question is if this is what users want.
So for this week’s poll, we really want to know what our readers think. Do you want OnePlus to keep shipping its international models with OxygenOS or will you prefer if they switched to ColorOS?
