Lenovo has just launched a bunch of new products. These include a new lineup of ThinkPad laptops that are aimed for productivity and creative professionals, along with a new mobile monitor and its Go series of accessories for people working remotely.
ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4
The new ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 from the known Chinese PC maker has just been launched, with powerful specifications for “digital creatives and prosumers.” In other words, it sports top notch specs and features that are designed for intensive professional workloads. On the front, the laptop features a 16 inch display that has a 16:10 aspect ration and is surrounded by a four sided narrow bezel design. This display is offered up to 4K resolution with 600 nits of brightness HDR400 and low blue light filter as well.

Under the hood, Lenovo is offering the laptop with up to an Intel Core i9 H series vPro processor with Windows 10 Pro pre installed. For memory, 64GB of 3200MHz RAM paired with up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD is offered. Talking about the graphics, there are multiple configurations one can choose from, including an Intel Iris X integrated graphics, or an NVIDIA RTX GeForce 3050Ti, RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and even an RTX 3080 mobile GPU. For audio, the laptop supports Dolby Atmos Speaker System and also offers a FHD or FHD Infrared Hybrid webcam on the front, while the laptop is powered by a 90Whr battery.

ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 & ThinkPad L13 Gen 2
Along with the high end X1 Extreme Gen 4, Lenovo also released the new ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2. Talking about the ThinkPad Yoga first, it is the company’s latest Windows 10 convertible laptop that is powered by the new AMD Ryzen mobile processors. Notably, both the ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 and the ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 features an AMD Ryzen 5000 PRO series processors.

For memory, both laptops offers up to 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. Similarly, the laptops also feature integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. On the front, the laptops sport a similar 13.3 inch display that has a FHD resolution, 300 nits of brightness and narrow bezels. While the Yoga variant supports Touch from the base model, the ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 has an option for the touch support. Both laptops are also powered by a 46Whr battery pack.
Pricing and Availability
The laptops that have just been launched will be available for purchase sometime in August of this year. Lenovo also shared the pricing of these laptops, which includes:
- ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 – 2099 Euros (roughly 2,500 US Dollars)
- ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 (AMD) – 749 Euros (roughly 894 US Dollars)
- ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 (AMD) – 649 Euros (roughly 775 US Dollars)
