Samsung is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy F22 budget smartphone in the Indian market but that’s not the only phone the South Korean firm is planning to launch. There’s also a new Galaxy A-series entry-level device which should launch pretty soon.

The upcoming smartphone, dubbed Samsung Galaxy A03s, has now been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification ahead of its launch (via Nashville Chatter). This hints that the official launch of the device could happen in the coming weeks.

The phone is revealed to have a model number SM-A037F and the certification confirms that the handset will have support for Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The listing hasn’t revealed any more information about the phone.

This upcoming smartphone was leaked online last month, which suggested that it could feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display panel with a notch on top of the screen for housing a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.

On the back side, the device is expected to come with a triple-camera configuration that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Interestingly, the phone is likely to come with a USB Type-C port which is a welcome upgrade in this price segment. For security, it is also said to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, embedded in the power button.

As of now, not much information is available regarding the phone’s chipset as well as memory configuration, or not even the battery capacity. However, we expect to know more about the smartphone in the coming days, as the launch date nears.
