Samsung has been rolling out Android 11 (One UI 3.x) stable update for eligible devices since December 2020. The company has updated most of its supported products by now. Only a few of them are left. The latest device to receive the update is Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) was announced in February 2019 with One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie. The tablet was updated to Android 10-based One UI 2.x last year.

Now, the product has finally started receiving the Android 11 update with One UI 3.x interface on top of it.  According to SamMobile, the latest system update for this tablet is live in multiple regions across Asia, Europe, and South America.

Apart from bringing new features supported by the product’s hardware, the new update also bumps up the security patch level to June 2021. As always, like any other OTA system software update, this one is also being rolled out in batches. Therefore, it may not be available for all users at the moment. But it should reach all the units across the world in the coming days.

Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is neither eligible for three generations of Android updates nor qualified for four years of security updates. Currently, the device is listed to get biannual security updates.
