Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Mi CC11 series of smartphones for China. A recent leak claimed that the company may announce it in mid or late August. A Chinese tipster has shared the key specifications of the Mi CC11 and Mi CC11 Pro smartphones.

The leak reveals that the Mi CC11 will be sporting an OLED panel that delivers a 90Hz refresh rate. The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 780G chipset. The camera setup of the Mi C11 may include a 64-megapixel primary camera and a telephoto sensor.

As far as the Mi CC11 Pro is concerned, it is likely to feature the more powerful Snapdragon 870 flagship chip. Its camera setup may include a 1/1.3x-inch camera sensor as the primary snapper and a periscope lens that will bring support for 5x zoom. It is unclear whether its OLED panel will support a 90Hz or a higher refresh rate.

The other specs of the Mi CC11 and Mi CC11 Pro are under wraps. Since they are expected to launch in August, both models are likely to pass through 3C and TENAA certifications later this month through which more details are expected to appear.

The tipster also said that the Mi MIX 4 will be featuring the Samsung GN1s, whereas the Xiaomi Mi 12 could be one of the first smartphones to arrive with a 200-megapixel camera. Speculations are rife that the Mi 12 could be powered by the Snapdragon 895 chip, and it may debut by the end of this year.
