Xiaomi has been rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for eligible smartphones for the past few months. But still, most of the handsets are yet to receive it in India. Recently, Xiaomi revealed that it has achieved massive growth in the premium smartphone segment in the country. The announcement was soon followed by the MIUI 12.5 update rollout for the Mi 11 Ultra, the firm’s most expensive phone in the region. Now, the update is also being seeded out to Mi 10i and Redmi K20 Pro, which are older upper mid-range smartphones.

The Mi 10i sold in India is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. This phone with a different primary camera is known as Mi 10T Lite in some markets. The latter two models have already received MIUI 12.5 update in May and June respectively.

Now, the same update is finally available for the Indian model Mi 10i. The latest system update arrives with build number V12.5.1.0.RJSINXM and it is being rolled out in batches. The new software update comes after the Android 11 update in May.

On the other hand, the MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi K20 Pro in India brings song Android 11. The update bears build number V12.5.1.0.RFKINXM. Like any other OTA system update, this one is also going through a batched rollout.

Just like the previous device, the original Redmi K20 Pro from China and the Mi 9T Pro have already received this very same update in May and June respectively.

Xiaomi is expected to unveil MIUI 13 very soon. These two smartphones, namely Mi 10i and Redmi K20 Pro will most likely be updated to the upcoming version of MIUI.
