Vivo will be announcing the Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro smartphones on Wednesday. Ahead of the launch, the handset has been spotted with key specifications at the Google Play Console (via). Moreover, a video that has surfaced on Weibo shows that its rear shell is sensitive to ultraviolet light.

The Play Console listing confirms that the Vivo S10 Pro (V2121A model number) is powered by the Dimensity 1100 chip and 12 GB of RAM. The device supports Full HD+ resolution and boots to Android 11 OS.

The S10 Pro’s display has a wider notch, which probably houses a 44-megapixel dual selfie camera system. The rear side of the phone features a triple camera unit, which is led by a 108-megapixel camera.

The device is expected to come with up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It was spotted with a 3,970mAh rated battery at TENAA recently and is likely to arrive with support for 44W rapid charging. As far as the Vivo S10 is concerned, it is likely to arrive with identical specs as the S10 Pro. The only major difference between the two could be that the vanilla could be sporting a 64-megapixel triple camera system.

Coming back to the S10 Pro, a video that has appeared on Weibo reveals that its gradient blue back panel can turn darker when exposed to UV light. In addition, the video also shows how UV light is used to imprint a design on the rear shell of the device. Hopefully, Vivo will share more details on it through the S10 series launch event.
