Samsung has several smartphones in the pipeline that are planned to go official later this year and one of them is the budget offering under the M-series, dubbed Galaxy M22. The phone has already been certified by Thailand’s NBTC with model number SM-M225FV.

Now, ahead of the official launch of the smartphone, renders showcasing its design as well as details about the specifications have been leaked online. Continuing the similarity with the A-series counterpart, the upcoming Galaxy M22 is quite similar to Galaxy A22 as far as the phone’s design is concerned.

The device features a waterdrop notch on top of the screen which the company likes to call Infinity-V display. On the backside, there’s a square-shaped camera module that houses four camera sensors and an LED flash.

It remains to be seen if the South Korean giant offers other memory variants for this smartphone. There’s also a microSD card slot on the device, allowing users to expand the storage capacity up to 1TB.

In the camera department, the phone is likely to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, coupled with an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, there will be a 13-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
