Next week is going to be an exciting one as there are a bunch of new products scheduled to be unveiled. Among them is Huawei’s much-awaited P50 series, ZTE’s Axon 30 which will have an in-display camera, the Nothing earbuds, and Nokia’s first rugged smartphone. Here is a roundup of what is coming next week:

Xiaomi Smart Home product launch

Xiaomi has a global event set for Monday, July 26, and it has revealed that it will be announcing new smart home products with a focus on cooking appliances. The event begins a 20:00 (GMT+8) and should be live-streamed.

 

Nothing ear (1) launch

After months of waiting, Carl Pei is ready to announce to the Nothing ear (1) earbuds, the first earbuds from his new company, Nothing. The event is scheduled for July 27 and will begin at 14:00 BST.

After announcing the Axon 30 Ultra and the Axon 30 Pro, ZTE will announce the standard Axon 30 on July 27. Unlike its siblings which have a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera, the Axon 30 will feature ZTE’s second-generation under-display camera which has been reported to be significantly better than that of the Axon 20.

 

Nokia will launch a rugged phone on July 27, possibly the Nokia XR20

Nokia XR20 – July 27

Last month, the Motorola Defy launched as the first rugged smartphone borne from a partnership between Bullitt Group and Motorola. Now, we are about to get a Nokia rugged smartphone too. The device is expected to launch as the Nokia XR20 and will be announced on July 27.

 

Huawei P50

Huawei P50 and more – July 29

Huawei has a mega-launch event set for July 29 and the Huawei P50 series will be the star of the show. The P50 series should have launched in the first quarter of the year but had to be delayed as a result of Huawei’s ongoing troubles.

The new phones are not the only new products coming. Huawei will also announce a smart display for kids with a pop-up camera and a new version of its smart speaker. Both products will be powered by HarmonyOS.
