Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO 8 series as soon as early August. Ahead of that, these handsets will be showcased at an upcoming conference in China. This piece of information comes directly from the company’s official Weibo account.

iQOO 8 Series Teaser Poster

A few hours back, the official iQOO Weibo account shared a teaser poster for the next iQOO series of smartphones. As per the teaser image, the forthcoming handsets will be presented at the ChinaJoy conference, which is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 2 in Shanghai.

The company is yet to officially reveal the name of these devices. However, multiple leaks have suggested them to carry iQOO 8 branding.

According to previous reports, one of the iQOO 8 series models will sport a QHD+ display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC paired with 12GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM, and 256GB storage. As for software, it will run OriginOS 1.0 for iQOO based on Android 11.

Since the current-gen iQOO 7 series features a similar design and specs as the vivo X60 series, the upcoming iQOO 8 will be mostly identical to the vivo X70 series.
