Samsung is reportedly working on the Tab S8 series of flagship tablets. A recent leak revealed that the lineup includes three models such as Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. It is speculated that the next-generation S-series tablets will break cover in early 2022. Tipster Ice Universe has tipped the battery sizes of Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra.
The Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ that debuted last year in August came with an 8,000mAh and a 10,090mAh battery. While the battery size of the Tab S8 is not known yet, the new leak reveals that the Tab S8+ has a 10,090mAh battery, whereas the Tab S8 Ultra will be backed by an 11,500mAh battery.
The tipster further mentioned that the model number of Tab S8+ is SM-X80x and Tab S8 Ultra’s model number is SM-X90x. This indicates that Tab S8’s model number could be SM-X70x. For many years, Samsung has been using the letter T in the model numbers of its S-series tablets. However, it appears that the company has decided to use the letter X instead of T in the model numbers of the Tab S8 lineup.
Past reports have revealed that the Tab S8 Ultra may feature a 14.6-inch OLED 120Hz display, 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual front-facing cameras, 45W fast charging, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. The Tab S8+ may come with a 12.4-inch 120Hz OLED screen, an 8-megapixel front camera, 45W fast charging, 8 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage.
The Tab S8 may come with an 11-inch TFT 120Hz display, 8-megapixel front camera, an 8,000mAh battery, 45W charging, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of built-in storage. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 will offer some common features such as a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual-camera system with flash, quad-speakers, and support Bluetooth enabled S Pen.
