The Galaxy Z Fold3 will have support for the S Pen and leaks have revealed that there will be two S Pen models available for the device. One will launch as the S Pen Fold Edition and the will be the long-awaited S Pen Pro that was first revealed back when the Galaxy S21 Ultra was announced early this year. Now, details of the former have surfaced and it includes possible pricing too.

S Pen and S Pen Pro for the Galaxy S21 Ultra

The S Pen Pro already got certified by the FCC earlier this month and the listing revealed that the stylus will be compatible with a range of Galaxy phones and products that include the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and older models such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Note10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and Galaxy Tab S6.

According to the leaker that goes by Chun (@chunvn8888), the S Pen Pro has a tip size of 0.7mm, and as expected, has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. An important point revealed by the leaker is that the stylus can be used with the Galaxy Z Fold3 without damaging the screen.

Also, unlike the S Pen that comes with the Galaxy Note20 Ultra that charges once placed inside the garage or that of the Galaxy Tab S7 which charges when placed in the groove on the back of the tablet, users who buy the S Pen Pro will have to charge it via its USB-C port. That one more device to charge at the end of your day.

The S Pen Pro will attach magnetically to the back of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 via select cases. If you don’t want to pick up Samsung’s own cases, we trust there will be others from third-party manufacturers.

Last but not least is the price of the stylus which the leaker says is around “70 bucks in the UK”. That price tag is about double the £34 a replacement S Pen for the Galaxy Note20 series sells for in the UK.
