Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has been selling RedmiBook branded laptops in China since 2019. However, it is only today that the company took off covers from its first RedmiBook models in India. The country has received two new RedmiBook 15 series laptops called the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook eLearning Edition. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and pricing of both laptops.

RedmiBook Pro specifications and features

The RedmiBook Pro has a 15.6-inch LCD panel that offers a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The notebook is driven by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-11300H CPU, Intel Iris X graphics, and 8 GB of DDR 3200 MHz RAM. It offers 128 GB and 256 GB NVMe SSD storage choices, and it comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Home, MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019, and Mi Smart Share for seamless file transfer.

RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook eLearning Edition

The laptop promises a battery life of 10 hours and it carries support for 65W fast charging. It is equipped with an HD webcam and a pair of 2W speakers for stereo output with DTS Audio technology. The device has an intuitive keyboard with a scissor mechanism and a large-sized trackpad.

The device offers users connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a pair of USB 3.2 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI slot, an Ethernet port, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm microphone/headphone jack.

RedmiBook e-Learning Edition specifications and features

The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, 256 GB SSD or 512 GB NVMe SSD storage. It will also come with a 15.6-inch FHD LCD screen, Windows 10 Home, MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019, Mi Smart Share, and DTS Audio technology. Both laptops will be treated with the Windows 11 upgrade when available.

RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition pricing and availability

RedmiBook Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 (~$673), and with the HDFC Bank instant discount of up to Rs 3,500 (~$37), it can be purchased for Rs 46,499 (~$626). The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition with 256 GB SSD storage is priced at Rs 41,999 (~$565), whereas its 512 GB NVMe SSD variant is priced at Rs 44,999 (~$606). With HDFC Bank’s up to Rs 2,500 instant cashback offer, both models can be purchased for Rs 39,499 (~$532) and Rs 42,499 (~$572), respectively. The first sale of the RedmiBook duo will be carried at 12 PM (local time) on Aug. 6 in India through Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home.
