As of right now, Respawn, the studio behind the popular Titanfall and Apex Legends franchise, is testing an early version of the game with a limited number of players. In other words, this build of the battle royale shooter is not the final version and will likely go through several changes and updates before its actual release. So, players that are able to play this early version can expect overhauls or major changes post release, along with the usual bugs and instabilities.

Apex Legends Mobile has already garnered a lot of positive reactions from players that were able to enter the regional bets testing in select countries like Philippines and India. At the moment, the largest difference between the PC version and the mobile port is the game’s shift to a third person perspective by default. Notably, this third person mode was available on PC and consoles for a limited time, but it seems to be the default for smartphones.

Keep in mind that the port is currently only available for Android smartphones and we have no news of when the game is being brought to Apple iOS. So stay tuned for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information is available regarding this matter.
