Realme will be announcing the Realme Book on Aug. 18 in China. On the same day, the company will be unleashing the Realme Book Slim in India. It is unclear whether these are the same device. A Weibo user (via) has shared a couple of live shots of the blue and silver variants of the Realme Book to showcase its design.

The Realme Book’s live shots show that it will arrive with an aluminum build. The lid of the device has a minimalist look as it only features a plain “realme” branding. The top bezel of the laptop features a webcam, and another branding can be seen on the bottom bezel.

A fingerprint sensor can be seen in the upper-right corner above the backlit keyboard. Below the keyboard is a large trackpad, which probably carries support for gestures. The device’s right edge has a pair of USB-C ports, and there is a USB slot and a 3.5mm audio jack available on its left spine. The underside of the notebook is a grille for ventilation. A “Dare to Leap” branding can also be seen on the underside.

Earlier today, Realme China confirmed that it will be sporting a 3:2 aspect ratio display that offers a 2K resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. The device can be seen running on Windows 10 OS, and it is expected to receive the Windows 11 upgrade later this year.

It is likely to be powered by the Intel 11th gen. Core i5-1135G7 processor, Xe graphics, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The device may offer 512 GB of PCIe storage. It may come with a 54Wh battery that supports 65W rapid charging.
