As a well-known Japanese manga series, Detective Conan has always been loved by fans all around the world. And recently, OPPO announced a special gift for Detective Conan fans. Naturally, we had to get our hands on this immediately, and we managed to be one of the first ones to get this special edition model.

The moment we see the outer packing of this edition, we know that OPPO has been really attentive. Yes, the outer packaging is a scaled-down model of the Mouri Detective Office Agency building.
This package restores all the details of the office in the manga, such as the Japanese Kanji on the glass and the location of the air conditioning unit, the katakana of the coffee shop and the three green plants. Such a high level of attention to detail ensures this special edition can also be kept as a collector’s item.
The package is opened from the roof. Lift the roof up, and pick up the card containing the instructions, while the phone is lying quietly in the center of the box. We will show the phone later, let’s first see what else is in the package.
The next layer contains the phone accessories, and they too have a deep level of customization. For example, this phone case has the same design as Mouri Ran’s cell phone, and the internal texture is the famous brick wall texture from the anime. And this phone chain accessory is also a gift from Shinichi Kudo to Ran Mouri, which is a sea cucumber with a smiley face. The color scheme is also strictly in accordance to the official manga series.
While the customized Detective Boys badge in the box is not a walkie-talkie, it can not only be kept as a collector’s item, but also as a SIM card pin. And that red tie can be used as a headphone winder. 
The last layer is loaded with chargers, charging cables and headphones. The Charger and the charging cable have the Detective Conan color scheme – red and blue. And the headphones included feature printed silhouettes of Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri on both sides. Indeed, it gives out a romantic vibe.
Enough about the accessories, now let’s take a look at the phone. When you first get the phone, you are in for a treat. The first time you enter the system, you will have to solve a small puzzle. The answer to this puzzle is a very famous line that Kudo Shin said to Mo Lilan in the anime episode 672.
If you enter the correct answer as 0, the door to that classic over-the-top animation opens, and you officially enter the phone system. Of course, even if you do not know the puzzle, it does not matter, press ten times and you’ll be allowed to enter.
OPPO has given two different themes for Reno 6 Pro+, representing the mobile interface of Conan and Mouri Ran respectively. And the theme’s third-party icons have all been redrawn, which can ensure visual unity.
Now, let’s go to the back of the phone. This is the most interesting part of the phone, with the back featuring the design of the manga. I believe Detective Conan’s manga fans will be very satisfied with this back cover. But the amazing thing about this back cover is that it uses a new Electrochromic technology, which allows the back cover to change colors between silver and red. You can change its color by saying the famous line using the voice assistant.
There’s also a unique feature wherein you can link two Detective Conan editions via your OPPO account, and the two phones will change colors simultaneously when you tap the back.
Of course, you can also directly click on the personalization option to switch the color, it takes only about 5 to 10 seconds to complete the switch.
