Recent reports have revealed that the V2104 and V2105 are the model numbers of the global editions of the upcoming Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro smartphones. Fresh information reveals that the X70 Pro has received certification from the Bluetooth SIG and Singapore’s IMDA authorities. These certifications hint that the X70 series may go official in the coming month.
While the IMDA listing (via) of the V2105 hasn’t revealed any information on the specs of the X70 Pro, its Bluetooth SIG (via) listing reveals that it carries support for Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The X70 Pro was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site with the Dimensity 1200 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. The vanilla X70 was spotted with the same specs at Geekbench recently.
It is speculated that the Vivo X70 series heading to China have different models. Probably, the V2130A and V2134A phones that were approved by the 3C authority of China in July could be the X70 and X70 Pro smartphones. These 5G-ready phones were spotted with 44W fast charger at 3C. It is speculated that the more powerful Vivo X70 Pro+ may ship with a 66W rapid charger.
The X70 series is said to be equipped with Vivo’s self-developed image signal processor (ISP). Its main sensor may come with an f/1.5 aperture and 5-axis image stabilization. Probably, the Pro model may feature gimbal stabilization. The X70 series may feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumors are rife that the X70 series may debut in India by mid-September. It is speculated that the X70 may cost around Rs 45,000 (~$606), whereas the X70 Pro could be priced at around Rs 50,000 (~$673). The X70 Pro+ could be priced at around Rs 70,000 (~$942).
